But First, Coffee…
There are some great coffee options nearby. Here’s our top recommendations…
A super cute little spot on Simmons. This is walk-up only. They have outdoor picnic tables, but no indoor seating. The only reason not to go here is if it’s cold or rainy. Otherwise, you have no excuses - this is your coffee spot. Check their instagram for announcements. Oftentimes, the Callies Hot Little Biscuits truck is there on Saturday morning. If you are in a rush, order online in advance.
The Cinnamon Brown Sugar Iced Latte and Vanilla Iced Latte are so good…and perfect for a walk on the beach.
In the same location as Coastal Crust, Vintage Coffee serves up great coffee and breakfast items. A little bit of indoor seating, but they’ve got plenty of picnic tables in the back.
One of the only local spots with a drive through option. Try their homemade Nutella Pop Tarts!
Newly opened in Oyster Park, this is just a quick ‘hop skip and a jump’ from Sullivan’s Nest. It’s only about a 1/2 mile walk.
Starbucks
Come on. You’re visiting a new place…go local! But if you have to get your Starbucks, there are two locations relatively nearby. One’s on Coleman Blvd (closest) and the other on Houston Northcutt.
